The first exhibitor spotlight is Michelle Thurgood. This was Michelle's last year showing steers and she went out with a bang winning the Grand Champion Steer at the Utah State Fair. Not only did she win at the state fair but she had a great run this past year including; Grand Champion Steer Ring 2 Sweathearts Jackpot, Reserve Champion Ring 1 Sweathearts Jackpot, Reserve Champion Steer True Blue Jackpot, and Class Winner National Western Stock Show.
Outside of showing steers Michelle likes to participate in competitive gymnastics, 4-H livestock judging and livestock bowls. Her favorite things include: steak, Country music, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and gymnastics. Michelle is currently attending college and majoring in exercise science with a minor in chinese.
